What’s even more important than UTRS’s experience supporting the Department of Defense for over 30 years? When you team with us, you’re not just engaging a contractor. You’ve found a dedicated ally who will take responsibility and perform.

UTRS has been integrally involved in the mission of warfighter support, bringing innovative solutions to many agencies within the DoD.

We support the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Center (DEVCOM) Armaments Center, the Air Force Safety Center (AFSC), the Naval Air Warfare Center, the National Guard Bureau, and more.

With personnel located onsite at numerous military installations across the country, we are intimately familiar with our customers’ missions and well-positioned to deliver high quality, timely, and economical results.

Navigating the DoD landscape

UTRS understands the compliance requirements necessary to competitively bid and maintain DoD contracts. We pursue and perform on IDIQs, MACs, BPAs, OTAs, GSA MAS, and other contract types. We know FAR regulations, MIL standards, DCAA, and DCMA requirements. We have also shepherded technology transfer and the development and implementation of new systems.

Our DoD support covers a wide range of services, including prototyping and fabrication of new munitions and weapons, upgrading and maintenance of legacy equipment, software and testing of complex weapons systems, cybersecurity and compliance for large groups of personnel, facilitating readiness, training (both in person and via virtual reality), program management, program financial management, network administration, quality assurance, and many others. We have applied these solutions to the U.S. Army, the U.S. Navy, the Air Force, the Marines, the Coast Guard, and the National Guard.

More than a contract

The military is a system of systems with many compartmentalized needs. But supporting these needs is more than just reporting for duty – at UTRS, satisfactory is not sufficient. When we are on a contract, we take support of the warfighter personally. This means not just following the established processes, procedures, and protocols, but also offering improvements, efficiencies, and alternative solutions.

We aim for exceptional performance and have received consistent feedback that our support exceeds expectations. But we don’t do it for accolades. We don’t do it for the paycheck. We don’t do it in the hopes of getting the next contract. We do it because we believe in the mission of warfighter support: making individual U.S. soldiers, sailors, pilots, and personnel safer, better trained, better equipped to fight for our freedoms, and given the resources to return home safely once they’ve accomplished their mission. And our support continues once they leave service too.
