Our Community Outreach
UTRS is driven by its ability to design, create, and implement strategies, technologies, and solutions for the world. Our passion for problem-solving is also what drives our corporate social responsibility efforts, locally and globally.
As part of our philosophy of thinking forward, UTRS believes in providing for the needs of our youth, helping them become the leaders of tomorrow. We participate in internships and coop programs as well as supporting Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) programs that generate interest in these areas of study among local students. We also donate annually to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and hold Toys-for-Tots collections in multiple locations.
UTRS believes in supporting veterans for their efforts to uphold democracy and keep us safe. We have raised awareness and supported the Mission Continues for the past six years, a program that redeploys veterans’ skills and services back into our nation’s communities. To support those troops still actively serving, we donate hundreds of care package items through Operation Yellow Ribbon throughout the year.
UTRS is always eager to lend a helping hand to those in need, to strengthen both our own community, where we have been headquartered for over thirty years, as well as those across the world. When natural disasters strike, we send donations to the Red Cross to provide food, clean drinking water, and other items needed for relief efforts. Closer to home, we send a team of employees to participate in annual event held by Habitat for Humanity, raising funds and building a house for a local family. We also make annual donations to the Interfaith Homeless Outreach Council (IHOC), a service organization that addresses the needs of homeless men in our area.
