In 2023, UTRS was selected as part of Forbes new annual list of America’s Best Small Employers. Forbes teamed with an independent research firm and used various metrics to assess 10,000 of America’s best companies with 200 to 1,000 employees, across all states and industries. The Next Frontier Advanced Manufacturing Institute (NFAMI) – which provides tuition-free rapid workforce training for Veterans and Armed Forces personnel transitioning out of service as well as their spouses and adult children up to age 25 – has moved beyond the pilot year of its Operation Next Montana program to become an ongoing endeavor. (UTRS) has been awarded an $82 million task order contract by the General Services Administration (GSA) to provide Advanced Prototyping, Testing, and Diagnostics Support Research and Development Services.
