UTRS acquired a minority interest in IVS in 2021 to support this innovative firm and partner on custom vehicle upfitting opportunities.
IVS customizes commercial vehicles for a wide variety of clients, ranging from unique security vehicle upfits for the Department of State to high-volume fleet solutions for commercial clients including Amazon, Goodyear, Kroger, Frito-Lay, and Tesla.
IVS also has its own separate divisions including SERVS, which specializes in ambulance sales and remounts, and El Kapitan, which crafts premium luxury conversion vans to the highest standards of transportation comfort.
Like UTRS, IVS is focused on technology-based solutions and has an entrepreneurial spirit that has led to its rapid growth. Recognizing a firm with great technical capabilities and leadership, UTRS acquired a minority interest in IVS in 2021. Since then UTRS and IVS have partnered on several opportunities including a large contract to design, prototype, and provide specialty vehicles to the Department of Energy.
