In 2023, UTRS Advanced Manufacturing acquired this established CNC prototype and production machining company.
While managing a large machine shop, Ken Hunter began operating his own small machine shop business out of his garage in 1992. A few years later he officially established Hunter Manufacturing Services, Inc., rapidly earning a reputation for consistency and quality, including ISO 9001 certification. Hunter’s company and its capabilities grew, moving from one facility to another as it needed more space for additional staff and CNC machines to accommodate customers from a range of sectors including pharmaceutical packaging and OEM equipment.
Hunter supports many industries with high volume, precision components. Hunter’s commitment to people, both its customers and its staff, made it a perfect fit when UTRS established UTRS Advanced Manufacturing LLC. Since the acquisition of Hunter Manufacturing Services, Inc. in 2023, Ken Hunter has continued to oversee the 12,000 square foot facility, ensuring that our manufacturing jobs are done right and done on time.
