Our History
UTRS was founded in 1985 as a commercial information technology professional placement business. In 1995, we expanded our services to include consulting and engineering in diverse technical areas while our customer base grew to include government clients such as the Department of Defense (DoD) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
As our footprint within the federal marketplace increased, we gradually expanded our service offerings to include many other technical disciplines including manufacturing and digital solutions. We also developed technological innovations, such as novel methods of refining titanium and creating large scale safety management web platforms.
Over the years we have continued to grow by leveraging our extensive capabilities and strong past performance, expanding into new mission spaces and markets.
Today, we serve federal, state, and local government agencies as well as many commercial industries in an ever-growing list of offerings.
