UTRS formed UTRS Advanced Manufacturing LLC (UTRS AM) in 2023 to combine our decades of DoD manufacturing experience with the skills and equipment of two long-established and well-respected manufacturing firms.
For decades UTRS has provided advanced manufacturing and related services (rapid prototyping, CAD design, testing, machining, design for manufacturability, LRIP, etc.) at New Jersey’s Picatinny Arsenal. Domestic manufacturing for civil agencies, municipal governments, and industry is also critical to our national security and a strong economy. Given the importance, market need, and our substantial manufacturing competency and capabilities, UTRS made the strategic decision in 2023 to establish a dedicated entity – UTRS Advanced Manufacturing LLC.
Our strategic vision in forming this LLC was to leverage our existing expertise, personnel, and customer base to expand in both the private and public sectors. By acquiring two long-established and well-respected firms, Gaum Inc. and Hunter Manufacturing Services Inc., we now have over 35,000 sf of dedicated manufacturing space across three facilities, staffed by highly-trained personnel and capable of everything from highly specific one-off builds, short runs, or repairs of massive industrial components to large volume, precision production and blanket orders. UTRS AM allows us to serve commercial, industrial, municipal, state, and federal customers in our own facilities.
