UTRS launched UTRS InfoSec LLC in 2024 to leverage our federal cyber capabilities and experience on behalf of industry and commercial clients.
UTRS has a long history of providing cybersecurity compliance oversight and information assurance solutions for numerous federal clients including vital military centers. Cybersecurity in the private sector is equally important to the economy and national security. Recognizing the need and demand for a company with our federal cyber capabilities and experience to support industry and commercial clients as well, UTRS formed the majority-owned subsidiary UTRS InfoSec LLC.
With UTRS InfoSec we can make deeper inroads in the private sector and also extend and deepen the services we provide to the federal government. This separate entity allows UTRS to stay laser-focused and agile in this rapidly evolving domain. In 2024, UTRS InfoSec acquired Black Cipher Security, LLC, which provides managed security and risk management for a variety of industries including states, municipalities, hospitals, and financial institutions as well as the clients of trusted advisors such as attorneys and accountants.
