David’s Country Inn is a historic wedding venue located in picturesque Hackettstown, New Jersey. This distinguished building was originally constructed in 1840 as a 24-guest-room inn. Elegantly restored in 1978, David’s Country Inn has operated for almost 5 decades as an exceptional wedding and event space.
Until recently, the Inn had to partner with another historic venue for outdoor weddings. Recognizing the advantage of keeping their clients’ activities on the Inn’s grounds, David’s Country Inn embarked on the creation of a stunning new outdoor courtyard for on-site ceremonies.
UTRS’s New Jersey Civil Engineering office provided layout and Site Planning for the proposed exterior improvements for the project. The improvements include an expansion of the outdoor space for both ceremonies as well as outdoor receptions. The construction of a outdoor fireplace accentuates the beautiful landscaped area to create a breathtaking hidden hideaway for each newlywed’s special day.
The addition of this outdoor area solidifies David’s Country Inn as a preeminent wedding venue. The Inn has consistently and annually been awarded the Couple’s Choice Award (12 times) from WeddingWire, where it currently holds a perfect 5.0 rating. The Inn has also received the Best in Weddings Award from TheKnot every year since 2013.
